Aliki is a beautiful and imposing beach. For most visitors to Thassos it is a 'must do'! Emerald waters gently touch the sand and pebble beach which is backed by a range of traditional stone cottages (kalivas). Some have been converted into relaxing bars and tavernas where you are always welcome to sit in the shade and enjoy a meal, snack or drink.
On the east side of the bay you can explore the ancient marble quarries and have a swim between the remains of an ancient temple. Giola is located only 10 km's south of Aliki, on your way there you can also visit the Monastery of Archangel Michael. Aliki is on the south east side of the island, 35 km's from Limenas (Thassos Town), the capital of Thassos island.
