Orestiada

The New Orestiada is the second most populous city in the prefecture of Evros and is in the north, 155 km from Alexandroupoli. It is a modern city that is constantly evolving, is indeed the newest city in Greece, having been founded at the beginning of the 1920s by refugees of the old city located in Edirne. Around the square of Orestiada beats the heart of the city, day and night. A large number of cafes and taverns are available, enabling the visitor to taste delicious traditional dishes and fine quality wines and grape, all made by local producers.
