Tour Day 2 – Abdera - Porto Lagos – Vistonida Lake - Xanthi Region

The first station of the tour is the Abdera Archaeological Museum, located in the village, where you can admire its unique artifacts. The next station is Porto Lagos village, via two alternative routes, either via the beach of Abdera, or through Abdera village to New Kessani - Porto Lagos. Then you can head to the village of Porto Lagos and the church of St. Nicholas in the Vistonida lake, an ideal place to observe wading birds like flamingos, herons, pelicans, ducks, avocets, coots, etc. Porto Lagos is also ideal to enjoy its delightful seafood and get lost in the sounds and colors of the Thracian Sea.
