Abseiling (Rapel)
0
Abseiling is that usually follows after climbing up the mountain, i.e. the technique of climbing down a rock or a canyon. The athlete glides on the rope, using a tool called “oktari” until he reaches the ground. The descent with this technique is relaxing, safe and comfortable. However, it requires attention because several times accidents occur during abseiling. Thus, the fundamental rule of rapel (as abseiling is used to be called) is for the athlete not to make haste climbing down the mountain.
