Folklore Museum of Limemaria of Thasos

The Folklore Museum of Limenaria of Thasos began to operate in 1993, with responsibility of the Limenaria Cultural Association, "The Castle". It is housed in the former Community store in the center of the village, and in its collection it includes household items and clothing (embroidery, textiles, clothing, stoves, loom and auxiliary tools, paraphernalia coffee, etc.), professional tools (office supplies, hairdresser, shoemaker and carpenter"s benches, tools for collecting and transporting rosin tools Logger, hooch stills, olive harvesting species, paraphernalia beekeeper, hunting species, etc.), and as tools of the first operation session of the medals in the region.
