Fortification of Aggitis

At the top of the hill above the cave of Maara, a fortification was built in the late Roman or Byzantine times. In several places the height reaches from 1 to 3m. and the thickness is 1.30 m and make it possible for residents (probably of the settlement that was found on the right bank of Aggitis) to control the valley and the passes of the region.
