Holy Monastery of Saint Mina

At a distance of about 1500 meters west of the village Perichora in "Tagkala ", majesticallt stands on the slopes of a picturesque gorge, surrounded by pine forest, the The Holy Monastery of Saint Mina. The monastery celebrates on 11 November the memory of the holy martyr Minas, Biktoros and Bikentios and holy martyr and Stefanidis and our saint father and confessor, Theodore the Studitis. At the eve of the feast a high priest vesper is performed. On the day of the feast a high priest Divine Liturgy is performed. Crowds of faithfuls flock to church to worship during the festive day.
