The Mount Ismaros has an altitude of 700 meters and at its foot is built the settlement of Maronia. In the area there is the Wildlife Refuge - "Reforestation Area Ismaros" with area of 800 ha. Is a habitat breeding, feeding, and wintering of wildlife species (birds and animals).
There is the possibility of a climbing route. From the region passes the European route E6. There is no observatory in this area and on the peak there are air force’s radars.
