This forest is a very important habitat. The importance lies in the fact that here there are found countless species of flora of the area but mainly because here, very rare raptor species find a shelter. The Dadia Forest in 2003 was named National Park, where the varied landscape and flora make up a charming landscape on the slopes of mountains that reach 1000 meters in altitude. The forest occupies an area of 428,000 acres, where streams and mountain peaks follow one another with forests of pines, oaks, beeches and firs. In the forest you will find hiking trails which will help you to better explore this virgin forest. Specifically, the Orange Trail, a journey of 60 minutes, leads you to the Observatory. The route passes through an old cart road with black and Calabrian pine, mixed forests, glades and gullies with aquatic vegetation.
