Museum of Natural History in Paranesti

In Paranesti Drama has its headquarters the Natural History Museum where visitor can be informed about all the natural attractions of the area. The museum is aimed in both children and adults and provides rich information in both geomorphological features of the region and the wealth of flora and fauna. In the Museum of Natural History of Rodopi someone can observe embalmed animals such as bears, wolves, boars and get information about the geology, rocks and fossils in the area, the flora and vegetation of Rodopi. The facilities of the museum is about 300 sq.m. and exhibits are designed according to modern museological trends. Particularly impressive is the three-dimensional re-enactment of Rodopi"s habitats.
